The fine print, in plain words
Privacy and advertising disclosure
How we make money
American Black Singles is an independent review site. When you click through to a dating platform from one of our links and go on to subscribe, that platform may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra. This is our only source of revenue and it is disclosed on every page that carries such a link, next to the link itself.
How that affects our rankings
It does not decide them. Programs pay different rates, and we will recommend a lower-paying platform over a higher-paying one whenever it is the better fit — including telling you when a site is not worth your money. Where we have not tested something ourselves, we say so on the page rather than implying experience we do not have.
What we collect
If you give us your email address, we store it to send you what you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with the dating platforms. You can unsubscribe from any email we send and we will delete your address on request.
Clicks and analytics
When you click an outbound link we record which page and which position it came from, along with basic technical information such as your browser type and country. This tells us which pages are useful. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not pass your personal details to advertisers.
What we never do
We do not create fake profiles, invent testimonials, publish reviews of products nobody here has used, or display made-up member counts. We do not ask for your password, your payment details, or your government ID — you sign up with the dating platforms directly, on their own sites.
